충남교육청이 3월 1일자 본청 국장, 교육지원청 기관장, 직속기관장 등을 포함한 정기인사를 5일 발표했다.

충남교육청에 따르면 이번 정기인사는 새로운 교육 수요와 교육 환경 변화에 능동적으로 대응하기 위해 자질과 능력 중심의 인사 배치에 중점을 두었다. 

인사 규모는 유치원 및 초등학교에서 255명(교장 122명, 교감 77명, 교육전문직원 56명), 중학교 및 고등학교에서 152명(교장 45명, 교감 61명, 교육전문직원 46명)으로 구성된다.

충남교육청 교육국장에는 김경호가 임명되었으며, 교육지원청 교육장으로는 아산교육지원청의 신세균 교육장, 부여교육지원청의 황석연 교육장, 청양교육지원청의 배종남 교육장이 각각 선임되었다. 

또한, 직속기관장으로는 교육과정평가정보원에 오동규 원장, 충무교육원에 정희순 원장이 임용되었다.

김지철 교육감은 “미래 교육 변화의 핵심은 학생 주도성 인식과 미래 교육 체제 전환이며, 이를 실현하기 위해 인사 정책은 매우 중요하다”며, “앞으로 현장 지원 중심의 신뢰받는 인사 시스템을 통해 소통과 협력하는 지원 행정을 공고히 하겠다”고 밝혔다.

이번 인사는 충남교육청이 미래 교육에 대한 비전을 실현하기 위한 중요한 발걸음으로 평가받고 있다.
