홍성군이 ‘희망2025 나눔캠페인’을 통해 목표액의 166.2%를 달성하며 지역사회의 따뜻한 나눔의 가치를 이어가고 있다. 

이번 캠페인은 ‘기부로 나를 가치 있게, 세상을 가치 있게’라는 슬로건 아래 2024년 12월 1일부터 2025년 1월 31일까지 두 달간 진행된다.

1월 22일 기준, 홍성군의 누적 모금액은 8억 9천 2백만 원으로, 목표액인 5억 3천 6백만 원을 크게 초과했다. 이 같은 성과는 군민들과 지역 단체, 기업들이 추운 연말에도 어려운 이웃을 위한 나눔에 적극적으로 동참한 결과다.

홍성군은 캠페인 시작 후, 어린이집 원아부터 기업, 단체, 개인에 이르기까지 다양한 구성원이 참여하며 온정을 나눴다고 밝혔다. 

주요 기탁 사례로는 원영건업(주) 5천만 원, 일진전기 2천만 원, 홍성군 직원 일동 1천 9백 62만 원, 농산개발 1천 5백만 원, 세석건설(주) 1천만 원 등이 있다. 또한, 내포그린에너지(주), (주)동신포리마, 홍성군산림조합, (주)광명, (주)은성전장 등 여러 기업과 단체가 각각 1천만 원을 기탁하며 캠페인에 동참했다.

특히 대한노인회 홍성군지회는 998만 원을, 홍성농업협동조합 임직원은 710만 원을 기탁하며 지역사회의 나눔 문화 확산에 기여했다. 이 외에도 다양한 금액과 현물 기부가 이어지며 캠페인에 온기를 더했다. 쌀, 김, 김치, 온누리상품권, 떡국떡, 쌀국수, 이불 등 생필품 기부도 이어지고 있다.

이용록 홍성군수는 “군민들의 성숙한 기부 의식과 적극적인 참여가 더불어 사는 따뜻한 사회를 만들어가고 있다”며 “남은 기간 동안에도 많은 관심과 참여를 부탁드린다”고 전했다.

기부를 희망하는 사람은 홍성군 복지정책과 복지자원관리팀 또는 읍·면 행정복지센터 맞춤형복지팀(주민지원팀)을 통해 참여할 수 있다. 캠페인을 통해 모인 성금은 충남사회복지공동모금회를 통해 긴급 생계·의료비 지원, 명절 위문금, 월동 난방비 지원 등 어려운 이웃을 돕는 데 사용될 예정이다.
