대전문화재단이 일상에서 문화예술을 즐길 수 있는 문화공간을 확충하고 대전 시민의 창작활동을 활성화하기 위해 ‘2025년 마음대로 예술공간 지원사업’ 공모를 추진한다고 밝혔다.

이번 ‘마음대로 예술공간’ 사업은 민선 8기 공약 사업으로, 전시, 연습 및 소규모 발표회, 커뮤니티 활동, 성과 공유회 등 다양한 문화예술 활동이 가능한 유휴 공간을 선정하여 지원하는 프로그램이다. 선정된 공간은 대전 시민들에게 무료로 대관될 예정이다.

지원 대상은 공용면적을 포함해 20평 이상이며, 공고일 기준으로 사용 기간이 12개월 이상 확보된 대전광역시 소재의 독립된 문화공간을 소유하거나 임차 중인 대전 시민이다. 

대전문화재단은 올해 3개소 이내의 공간을 선정할 계획이며, 선정된 공간에는 약 9개월간 임대료의 80%와 운영비 일부를 지원할 예정이다.

신청 접수는 내달 10일 오전 10시부터 12일 오후 5시까지 3일간 진행된다. 

대전 시민들의 많은 관심과 참여가 기대된다.

Daejeon Cultural Foundation Holds Competition for ‘2025 Free Art Space Support Project’

The Daejeon Cultural Foundation announced that it will hold a competition for the ‘2025 Free Art Space Support Project’ to expand cultural spaces where people can enjoy culture and art in their daily lives and to revitalize creative activities of Daejeon citizens.

This ‘Free Art Space’ project is a public promise project of the 8th elected government, and is a program that selects and supports idle spaces where various cultural and artistic activities such as exhibitions, practice sessions, small-scale presentations, community activities, and performance sharing meetings can be performed. The selected spaces will be available for free rental to Daejeon citizens.

The target of support is Daejeon citizens who own or lease an independent cultural space located in Daejeon Metropolitan City that is at least 20 pyeong including common areas and has been used for at least 12 months as of the announcement date.

The Daejeon Cultural Foundation plans to select no more than three spaces this year, and will support 80% of the rent and a portion of the operating expenses for the selected spaces for approximately 9 months.

Applications will be accepted for three days from 10:00 AM on the 10th of next month to 5:00 PM on the 12th.
