대전 동구의회가 17일 관내 복지시설 두 곳을 방문하여 쌀, 세제, 라면 등 다양한 위문품을 전달하며 지역 사회에 따뜻한 나눔을 실천했다.

이날 행사에는 오관영 의장을 비롯해 강정규 부의장, 박철용 운영위원장, 김영희 기획행정위원장, 이지현 도시복지위원장이 함께 참여하여 소망의집(홍도동)과 탄탄재활작업장(산내동)을 차례로 방문, 관계자들의 노고를 격려하고 감사의 마음을 전했다.

오관영 의장은 전달식에서 “설 연휴를 맞아 관내 복지시설 관계자들에게 조금이나마 도움이 되고자 위문품을 준비했다”며, “동구의회는 지역 사회의 복지 향상을 위해 지속적으로 노력할 것이며, 모든 주민이 행복한 동구를 만들기 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.

이번 지원은 단순한 물품 전달을 넘어, 지역 사회에 나눔 문화를 확산시키고 복지시설에 대한 관심을 높이는 계기가 되었다.
