충남 홍성군이 관내 기업과 소상공인을 대상으로 규제 애로사항을 직접 청취하고 개선하기 위한 ‘찾아가는 지방규제신고센터’를 본격적으로 운영한다고 17일 발표했다.

이 센터는 현장에서 규제의 실태를 파악하고 개선하기 위한 소통의 창구로, 기업 및 소상공인의 산업과 경제활동에 방해가 되는 규제 문제를 직접 듣고 해결하기 위해 마련된 제도이다. 이를 통해 군민의 편의를 증진하고 규제개혁의 체감도를 높이는 것이 목표다.

홍성군은 산업단지, 직능단체, 협의회 및 개별 사업체를 방문하여 애로사항을 수집하고, 자체적으로 해결 가능한 규제는 담당 부서와 협의하거나 조례 개정을 통해 신속히 처리할 계획이다. 

홍성군은 만약 상위법령의 개정이 필요한 경우에는 중앙부처에 적극적으로 건의할 예정이다.

또한, 군은 올해부터 군민들이 일상생활이나 경제활동 중 겪는 불편한 규제사항을 보다 쉽게 제기할 수 있도록 읍·면 행정복지센터와 사업소 등에서 ‘홍성군 지방규제신고센터’ 창구를 상시 운영할 예정이다. 

홍성군은 이를 통해 군민들의 목소리를 더욱 가까이에서 듣고, 실질적인 규제 개선을 이루겠다는 의지를 보이고 있다.
