대전 서구가 16일, 주민들과의 소통을 통해 힘찬 구정 운영을 위한 현장 행정을 추진하고 있다고 밝혔다.

지난 15일, 서 청장은 내동을 방문하여 서구의 주요 사업과 주민 숙원사업 현장을 점검하고 주민들과 소통하는 시간을 가졌다. 

특히, 오랜 기간 방치되었던 내동 안골어린이공원을 새롭게 단장하여 주민들에게 선보였으며, 주민들의 숙원사업인 안골경로당 건립 현장도 방문해 신속하고 안전한 경로당 건립을 당부했다.

서철모 청장은 “노후화된 안골어린이공원에 놀이시설과 화장실을 신규 설치하고, 바닥을 탄성 포장하며 다양한 나무와 꽃을 심어 주민 모두가 이용하고 쉴 수 있는 도심 속 공원으로 조성했다”라며, “내동 주민의 숙원사업인 안골경로당 건립도 신속히 마무리해 노인 복지 증진에 최선을 다하겠다”라고 말했다. 

이어 그는 “앞으로도 주민 불편 해소를 위해 주민들과 현장에서 보고, 듣고, 소통하며 개선해 나가겠다”라고 덧붙였다.

한편, 서구는 내동을 시작으로 2025년도 상반기 중 관내 24개 동의 다양한 현장의 목소리를 청취하고 소통하는 현장 행정 ‘우리동네 소통투어’를 이어갈 예정이다.
