박상돈 천안시장이 16일 설 명절을 앞두고 사회복지시설인 쌍용종합사회복지관을 방문했다. 

이번 방문은 명절을 맞아 이웃에 대한 따뜻한 나눔을 실천하고, 훈훈한 사회 분위기를 조성하기 위해 마련된 자리였다.

박 시장은 이날 시설 종사자와 이용자들과 새해 인사를 나누며, 그들의 애로사항을 청취하고 적극적인 개선 방안을 모색하겠다는 의지를 밝혔다. 

그는 “소외된 이웃들에게 따뜻한 온정이 전해지길 바란다”며, “시민, 단체, 기관 모두가 어려운 이웃들을 위해 힘을 모아준다면 우리 지역은 더 밝고 행복한 공동체가 될 것”이라고 강조했다.

천안시는 매년 명절마다 어려운 이웃들에게 관심을 기울이며 사회복지시설을 방문하는 등 지속적인 위문 행사를 이어오고 있다. 이러한 노력은 지역 사회의 연대감을 높이고, 소외된 이웃들에게 따뜻한 마음을 전하는 데 기여하고 있다.
