천안시민이 선정한 2024년 10대 뉴스 1위에 지역사랑상품권인 ‘천안사랑카드’가 올랐다. 

천안시는 지난달 25일부터 이달 6일까지 진행된 ‘10대 뉴스 온라인 투표’에서 시민 7,564명이 참여한 결과, 9.2%의 지지를 얻은 ‘천안사랑카드’가 1위를 차지했다고 밝혔다.

천안시는 ‘천안사랑카드’의 탄력적인 캐시백 운영이 내수 소비를 촉진하고 지역경제를 활성화하며 소상공인의 매출 증대를 유도한 것으로 분석하고 있다. 

올해 천안시는 착한가격업소에 대한 추가 5% 캐시백 지원사업과 골목형 상점가에 대한 추가 캐시백 도입 등을 추진했다.

2위는 ‘기업유치 6조 원’으로, 5.7%의 지지를 받았다. 천안시는 올해 외국인 투자기업 2개 사와 국내기업 11개 사와 투자협약(MOU)을 체결하여 총 6조 원 규모의 투자를 유치하고, 2,230여 명의 고용 창출 성과를 달성했다.

3위에는 ‘GTX-C 천안연장 확정’이 선정되었으며, 이는 5.3%의 지지를 받았다. GTX-C 노선의 천안 연장은 2028년 덕정~수원 본선 구간과 동시에 개통될 예정이며, 하루 왕복 84회 운행으로 도시 경쟁력이 강화될 것으로 기대되고 있다. 

그 외에도 4위는 ‘2024 빵빵데이 천안’(4.3%), 5위는 ‘역대 최대 규모 천안흥타령춤축제 2024’(4.03%), 6위는 ‘2024 천안 K-컬처박람회 성공 개최’(4.01%)가 차지했다. 

7위는 ‘지방세·세외수입 체납내역 카카오 알림톡 확인’(3.5%), 8위는 ‘명사 특강 도솔 아카데미’(3.4%), 9위는 ‘제3회 천안 이봉주 마라톤대회’(3.3%), 10위는 ‘생활자원회수센터 본격 가동’(3.2%)으로 선정되었다.
