공주의료원은 감염관리 및 환자안전관리 사업 제2차 원외실무협의체 회의를 지난 5일 개최했다고 밝혔다. 

이번 회의는 지역사회 감염병 예방을 위한 네트워크 구축을 위한 것으로 ▲2024년 감염관리 및 환자안전관리 사업 실적 보고, ▲2025년 사업 운영 계획 보고, ▲사업 운영 활성화 방안 등 기타 현안들이 논의됐다.

2020년 8월, 공주권 지역책임의료기관으로 지정된 공주의료원은 공공보건의료 협력체계 구축사업을 수행 중이다.

특히, 세부사업인 ‘감염관리 및 환자안전관리사업’은 지역사회 내 감염병 예방 체계 구축을 위한 것으로 요양병원, 노인장기요양시설 내에 근무하는 종사자들을 대상으로 환자의 감염 사례·안전 관리 방안과 관련된 정보의 공유 및 교육 등을 목적으로 한다.  

공주의료원 정태은 실장은 ” 사업을 통해 공주의료원뿐만 아니라 지역 내 모든 노인장기요양시설의 감염관리 운영이 상향 평준화 될 수 있도록 노력하겠다"고 밝혔다.

한편, 감염관리 및 환자안전관리 필수협의체 위원은 계룡시보건소 감염병대응팀, 공주시청 경로시설팀, 공주시보건소 감염병대응팀, 국민건강보험공단 공주지사 노인장기요양보험팀, 공주시노인복지시설협회, 공주재가장기요양기관협회, 충청남도감염병관리지원단 교육홍보팀으로 구성돼 있다.
