최근 넷플릭스에서 방영된 사무라이 관련 다큐멘터리가 임진왜란을 왜곡하여 일본의 침략을 미화한 내용으로 논란이 일고 있다.

이러한 상황에 맞서 ‘웹툰으로 만나는 청년 이순신’ 프로젝트가 시작되었다. 

 

이 프로젝트는 2024년 대전콘텐츠코리아랩의 크라우드펀딩을 통해 출발하며, 전 세계에 이순신의 진정한 위대함을 알리는 것을 목표로 하고 있다.

K-Talks 플랫폼과 미국 시카고 WIN Media Group과의 협업을 통해 다국적 독자들에게 다가갈 계획이다. K-Talks는 유튜브 채널로 웹툰 제작 과정과 주요 에피소드를 다루며, WIN Media Group은 IPTV, 라디오, 지역 언론 등을 통해 북미 지역으로 콘텐츠를 확산시킬 예정이다.
