대전경찰청이 ‘2024년 코리아세일페스타’ 기간을 맞아 전통시장을 활성화 하고, 이용객 편의 증진을 위하여 연중 주차가 허용되는 8곳과 별도 7개 전통시장에 대해서도 11월 9일부터 11월 30일까지 (22일간) 주변도로에 최대 2시간까지 주차를 허용하고 있다고 밝혔다.

이를 위해 대전경찰은 시장방문 시민들이 알 수 있도록 플래카드도 제작 설치했다.

주차가 허용되는 시장은 경찰과 시·구청 협조 하에 도로여건을 고려하고, 시장 상인회등의 의견을 수렴해 선정했고, 시행기간동안 시·구청에 요청하여 주차허용 구간ㆍ시간(09:00∼18:00, 20:00∼22:00)에 대해 주차단속을 유예할 계획이다.

행사기간 주차가 한시적으로 허용되는 지역은 인동시장, 가수원시장, 법동시장, 신탄진5일장, 노은시장, 유성시장, 송강시장 등 7개소이고, 상시 주차허용 지역은 부사시장, 문창시장, 신도시장, 한민시장, 도마큰시장, 중리시장, 오정동시장, 노은시장 등 8개소다.

한편, 대전경찰청은, 시장주변 소통에 큰 지장을 초래하는 2열주차, 황색복선, 소방시설 구간 등 불법 주·정차 주민신고제 구간, 허용 구간 외 주차, 2시간 이상 장기 주차 차량에 대해서는 집중 단속 할 예정이므로 시민의 협조를 당부했다.
