청양군보건의료원(원장 김상경)은 지난 7일 충남도립대학교 축제와 연계하여 정신건강 및 자살예방 홍보관을 운영하고 심리검사데이를 진행했다고 8일 밝혔다.

이날 정신보건사업 담당자들은 생명사랑 룰렛을 이용한 자살예방 상담전화(109) 홍보, QR을 이용한 마음검사 등 참여형 프로그램을 진행했으며, 정신건강복지센터 사업을 안내하는 리플릿 및 홍보 물품을 배부했다.

‘소중한 나, 건강한 마음’을 주제로 열린 심리검사데이는 지난 2017년부터 충남도립대학교 진로심리상담센터가 추진해 온 사업으로, 재학생들에게 다양한 상담활동을 펼쳐 자신의 상태를 객관적으로 이해하고 자살-중독 등을 예방하기 위해 마련한 프로그램이다.

김상경 보건의료원장은 “홍보관 운영이 청년들의 스트레스, 우울감 해소에 도움이 되길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 청년들의 건강하고 행복한 삶을 지원하기 위해 노력하겠다”고 말했다.

한편, 청양군 정신건강복지센터는 생명 존중 문화를 조성하기 위해 상담, 교육, 홍보, 치료비 지원 등 정신건강 사업을 수행하고 있다.
