충남교육청이 11월 1일부터 3일까지 도내 15개 시·군 경기장에서 제33회 충청남도학생체육대회를 개최한다고 밝혔다. 

이번 대회는 충남교육청의 특색사업인 체육인재선발대회와 함께, 육상·수영·체조·자전거·롤러·카누·조정 등 기초·전략 종목에 대한 지원을 강화하고 우수한 학생 선수를 발굴하는 기회를 제공할 예정이다.

충청남도학생체육대회는 내년도 전국소년체전 준비를 위한 선수 훈련과 일반 학생의 스포츠 참여를 확대하고자 기획되었다. 

선수 등록을 하지 않은 학생들도 자유롭게 참가할 수 있으며, 초등학교부는 23개 종목, 중학교부는 32개 종목으로 구성돼 총 2천569명의 학생이 참가한다.

Chungnam Office of Education to Hold 33rd Chungcheongnam-do Student Sports Competition

The Chungnam Office of Education announced that it will hold the 33rd Chungcheongnam-do Student Sports Competition from November 1st to 3rd at stadiums in 15 cities and counties in the province.

This competition will provide opportunities to strengthen support for basic and strategic sports such as track and field, swimming, gymnastics, cycling, rollerblading, canoeing, and rowing, along with the Chungnam Office of Education’s special project, the Sports Talent Selection Competition, and to discover excellent student athletes.

The Chungcheongnam-do Student Sports Competition was planned to train athletes in preparation for next year’s National Youth Sports Festival and to expand sports participation for general students.

Students who have not registered as athletes can also participate freely, and the elementary school division consists of 23 sports and the middle school division consists of 32 sports, with a total of 2,569 students participating.
