김지철 충남교육감이 12일 오전‘집중호우 피해 복구와 지원을 위한 긴급대책회의’를 열고 피해 발생 학교시설과 학생들에 대한 긴급 지원을 지시했다.

김지철 교육감 주재로 열린 이 날 회의에는 집중호우 피해복구와 관련된 모든 부서가 참여하여 교육시설 피해 점검 현황과 복구방안 ,교육과정 정상운영 방안 ,피해학생 지원 방안 등을 협의했다.

이날 회의에서 충남교육청은 우선적으로 침수와 토사 유입 등으로 정상적인 교육과정이 불가능 학교에 대한 긴급 복구와 호우피해 가정 학생지원을 위하여 가용한 예비비와 긴급복지지원금을 투입하기로 하였다.

특히, 침수된 급식실에 대하여는 완벽한 방역과 소독을 시행하여 혹시나 발생할지도 모를 식중독 사고에 대비하고, 주거시설 침수 피해를 입은 학생들에게는 학습물품 지원과 함께 필요한 경우 심리정서 상담도 진행하기로 하였다.

한편, 충남교육청 집계에 따르면 이번 집중호우로 인한 도내 학교의 피해현황은 11일 현재 44개교 침수와 토사 유입 등의 피해가 발생하였고, 170여 명의 학생의 가정이 피해를 입은 것으로 나타났다.

이번 호우피해와 관련하여 충남교육청은 교육감과 부교육감 등 간부 직원 중심으로 교육시설 피해 현장 점검을 위한 점검반(3과, 8개반, 7.11~12)을 편성해 총 27개교 점검을 완료하고 신속한 피해복구와 향후 다시 발생할 지도 모를 집중호우에 대비하고 밝혔다.
