국립세종수목원이 세종시 소방안전교육 이수 인증기관으로 인정받았다.

세종소방본부는 10일 국립세종수목원에서 ‘세종시 소방안전교육 이수 인증기관 제1호’ 인증패 전달식을 갖고 국립세종수목원에 인증패를 전달했다.

올해 처음 진행된 ‘소방안전교육 이수 인증 전달식은  시민들에게 생활 밀착형 서비스를 제공하는 기관 또는 단체를 대상으로 전 직원이 소방안전교육을 이수하게 되면 인증을 부여하는 제도다.

이날 행사에는 장거래 소방본부장과 신창호 국립세종수목원장 등이 참석했으며  교육 경과 소개, 인증패 수여, 기념 촬영 등으로 진행됐다.

수목원 직원 185명은 지난달 17일부터 19일까지 3일간 총 5회에 걸쳐 소방교육을 이수해 인증 자격을 충족했다.

소방본부 소속 소방안전강사 7명은 심폐소생술, 자동심장충격기, 하임리히법 등 실습 위주의 응급처치 교육을 제공했다.

교육은 수목원에서 실제 발생할 수 있는 온열질환, 타박 및 골절, 벌 쏘임 대처 방법 등 맞춤형으로 구성됐다.

소방본부는 소방안전교육의 중요성을 알리고 시민에게 안전한 환경을 제공하기 위해 앞으로 점차 사업 범위를 확대해 나갈 계획이다.

The National Sejong Arboretum was recognized as a certification agency for completing fire safety training in Sejong City.

On the 10th, the Sejong Fire Department held a certification plaque presentation ceremony at the National Sejong Arboretum as the ‘No. 1 certification agency for fire safety education completion in Sejong City’ and delivered the certificate to the National Arboretum.

The ‘Fire Safety Training Completion Certification Delivery Ceremony’, which was held for the first time this year, is a system that certifies all employees of organizations or organizations that provide daily life-related services to citizens when they complete fire safety training.

The event was attended by Fire Department Chief Jang Ge-rae and National Sejong Arboretum Director Shin Chang-ho, and included introduction of training progress, presentation of certification plaques, and commemorative photos.

185 arboretum employees completed firefighting training a total of five times over three days from the 17th to the 19th of last month and met the certification qualifications.

Seven fire safety instructors from the fire department provided hands-on first aid training, including CPR, automatic external defibrillator, and Heimlich maneuver.

The training was tailored to cover how to deal with heat-related illnesses, bruises and fractures, and bee stings that can actually occur in the arboretum.

The fire headquarters plans to gradually expand the scope of its business in the future to promote the importance of fire safety education and provide a safe environment for citizens.
