2024년 대전문화재단 청년예술인지원 선정 사업인 디파프가 7월 12일부터 14일까지 대전 중구 문창동 Another동양장(대전 중구 문창로 69번길 17)에서 진행된다.

예술가 네트워크 플랫폼 '플로트(float)'가 주최·주관하는 첫 번째 퍼포먼스 아트 페스티벌 ‘디파프(DPAF)’는 예술가들의 실험적인 아이디어를 자유롭게 펼칠 수 있는 장으로 마련되어, 대전 시민들에게 현대미술의 다양성을 알리는 기회를 제공할 예정이다. 

대전을 기반으로 활동하는 예술가 4명 (강혜림, 김채원, 양태훈, 허은선)과 서울을 기반으로 활동하는‘행’팀의 라이브 퍼포먼스는 선착순 신청을 통해 관람 가능하다. 라이브 퍼포먼스를 통해 관객들이 생생한 실험예술의 현장을 직접 경험할 수 있다면, 이번 프로그램의 다른 파트인 전시에서는 행위를 기반으로 작업하는 예술가들의 영상 및 사진 작품을 감상할 수 있다.  

문재선, 심혜정, 토마쉬 쉬라마(핀란드), 사라 코우델(뉴질랜드), 차이 쉰 잉(대만), 보리스 댐블리(벨기에) 등 다양한 국적을 가진 작가들의 다채로운 작품이 전시될 예정이다.

디파프는 특히 수도권에 비해 문화 예술적 인프라가 부족한 대전에서 열려 더욱 의미가 깊다. 시민들이 실험예술을 접할 기회가 적었던 만큼, 이번 디파프가 대전 시민들에게 새로운 예술적 경험을 제공할 것으로 기대된다.

Daejeon Cultural Foundation holds Daejeon Performance Art Festival ‘DPAF’

Deepaf, a 2024 Daejeon Cultural Foundation youth artist support project, will be held from July 12th to 14th at Another Oriental Market in Munchang-dong, Jung-gu, Daejeon (17, Munchang-ro 69beon-gil, Jung-gu, Daejeon).

The first performance art festival 'DPAF', hosted and organized by the artist network platform 'float', is a venue where artists can freely express their experimental ideas, informing the citizens of Daejeon about the diversity of contemporary art. We will provide you with an opportunity.

Live performances by four Daejeon-based artists (Kang Hye-rim, Kim Chae-won, Yang Tae-hoon, and Heo Eun-seon) and the Seoul-based ‘Haeng’ team can be viewed on a first-come, first-served basis. While live performances allow audiences to directly experience vivid experimental art, in the exhibition, which is another part of this program, they can enjoy video and photography works by artists who work based on actions.

A variety of works by artists of various nationalities, including Jaeseon Moon, Hyejeong Shim, Tomas Schirma (Finland), Sarah Caudell (New Zealand), Tsai Xun Ying (Taiwan), and Boris Dambly (Belgium), will be exhibited.

Diffap is especially meaningful because it is held in Daejeon, which lacks cultural and artistic infrastructure compared to the metropolitan area. As citizens have had few opportunities to encounter experimental art, it is expected that this DEFAF will provide new artistic experiences to Daejeon citizens.
