세종‘이응버스’가 8일부터 본격 운영에 들어갔다.

이날 세종시에 따르면 정류장과 정류장을 연결하는 도심형 수용응답형 버스 (DRT) 일부 생활권에서 운행중이라고 밝혔다. 

이번에 운행하는 이응버스는 1·2생활권, 3·4생활권, 6생활권 내에서만 운행된다. 

이응버스는 세종시 통합교통플랫폼인 ‘이응앱’을 이용해 호출이 가능하며 이용 요금은 성인기준 1,800원이다. 

이응버스는  도심형 DRT ‘셔클’의 새 이름으로‘셔클’의 새 이름으로 도입 첫해인 2021년에는 14만 명이 이용한 것을 시작으로 2022년 35만 명, 2023년 67만 명이 이용하는 1·2 생활권 대표 이동 수단으로 자리를 잡았다.

한편,세종시는 오는 22일부터 총 30대의 이응버스를 투입해1~6생활권 전체 운행에 나설 계획이다.
