2024년 교육부 365+체육온활동 사업의 주관교육청으로 선정돼 대전시교육청이 본 사업을 전국 시도교육청에 지원하고 있다고 밝혔다. 

교육부는 2023년부터 새롭게 365+체육온활동 사업을 시작하였는데 365일 동안 모든 학생의 신체활동 증진을 위해 창의적 체험활동 시간, 자율 동아리 시간, 틈새시간 및 틈새공간을 활용한 신체활동 증진 프로그램이다. 

주관교육청은 교육부와 함께 17개 시도 찾아가는 시도별 교사 및 관리자 연수 운영, 17개 시도 핵심강사 워크숍 운영, 시도교육청 및 지역교육청 체육교육 전문직원 연수 운영 등 365+체육온활동의 안정적인 현장 안착과 학교 현장의 맞춤형 운영을 위한 학교의 지도 역량을 강화할 것이다. 

지난 5월 2024년 365+체육온활동 상반기 17개 시도교육청 담당자 워크숍 및 핵심강사 연수를 대전 인터시티호텔에서 1박 2일간 진행하였으며, 특히 핵심강사 연수는 우리 대전의 초중고 강사들이 전국의 핵심강사 100명을 대전봉명초에서 교육하였다. 

대전시교육청도 작년에 이어 대전 초중고 교사를 대상으로 365+체육온활동 연수를 6월 20일(목) 대전봉명초, 대전봉명중에서 진행하였으며, 100여 명이 연수에 참가해 148개의 교육 콘텐츠 중 진놀이, 디스크 사커, 두 줄 넘기, 코코 술래잡기, 축구형 게임, 배구 스파이크 놀이 및 원바운드 모두 배구 등 이론과 실기지도법을 교육했다.
