세종시가 시정 4기 출범 2주년을 맞아 ‘세종이 미래다’를 주제로 시민, 언론인과 함께 지난 2년간의 성과를 돌아보고 세종시의 미래 비전을 구상하는 시간을 가졌다. 

 

시는 26일 조치원1927 아트센터에서 시민, 언론인, 관계 공무원 등 약 150명이 참석한 가운데 ‘시정 4기 2주년 기념행사’를 개최했다.

 

이날 행사는 ‘세종의 미래 비전’에 대한 다양한 시민들의 의견을 청취하고, 최민호 시장이 생각하는 ‘대한민국 수도’로서 발전할 미래 세종시의 비전을 함께 공유하고자 마련됐다. 

 

특히, 중입자가속기 등 각 분야에서 맺어온 해외 인사들이 영상 메시지를 통해 대한민국 행정수도이자 국제도시로 자리 잡기 위해 발로 뛴 시정 4기 2주년을 축하하는 자리도 마련됐다.

 

특히 영상 메시지에는 양자 분야 석학인 매사추세츠공립대학(MIT)의 볼프강 케털리 교수를 비롯해 일본 QST 방사선과학연구소 츠지이 히로히코 전 원장이 등장해 세종시의 밝은 미래를 응원했다.
