‘소외’를 주제로 활동해 온 여성-청년 창작집단 팀 ‘오토’의 4번째 작품

퀴어한 삶들을 조망하는 즉홍 연극 형식의 공연 <이건 이름없는 이야기야>가 오는 8월 6일부터 11일까지 골프존조이마루 6층 플랜B홀(대전 유성구 엑스포로97번길 40)에서 열린다. 

 

퀴어인권 논의가 전무한 대전에서 소수자 인권 주제를 무대에 올리는 연극에 많은 시민들의 관심이 쏠리고 있다.

 

연극을 기획하는 집단은 ‘소외된 모든 것을 조명하는 여성창작집단 팀 오토’다. 

 

오토는 대전에 있는 청년-여성 집단으로 다양성, 소외를 주제로 한 예술작업을 이어오고 있다. 가령, 성소수자, 장애, 노동, 빈곤, 여성 등 소외를 다각적인 측면에서 다뤄온 셈이다.

 

특히 이번 연극의 형식이 독특해, 많은 관심을 받고 있다. 이번 연극은 ‘플레이백 시어터(Playback Theatre)’로 1975년 미국에서 처음 시도되어 예술계의 관심을 끌고 있는 치유형 공연 장르다. 

 

특히 공연 중 사회자와 관객이 대화한 내용을 바탕으로 배우들과 악사가 즉석에서 연기와 연주로 무대 위에 표현하는 형태로 구성되어 관객과 소통하는 연극이라 불린다.

특히 이번 연극은 소외된 ‘퀴어’의 삶, 퀴어와 관련된 삶의 경험들을 무대로 올릴 예정으로 더 세심하게 작업을 이어오고 있다는 전언이다.

 

“이 공연의 목적은, 사회 곳곳에 머물고 있는 성 소수자들의 삶을 무대 위로 올리고, 사회적 공감과 지지를 다시 그에게 돌려 당사자와 자신을 투영해 바라본 관객 모두의 삶에 희망과 가치를 불어넣는 데 있습니다.

 

한 여름 날 소나기처럼 찾아오는 ‘연극’, 그리고 나의 마음과 너의 마음을 이어내서 ‘우리의 커먼즈’를 형성하는 이 연극에 당신을 초청한다.
