대전시교육청이 31일, 대전교육과학연구원 강당에서 전 기관 및 학교 개인정보 보호책임자 인식 제고 및 역량 강화를 위해  ‘2024년 개인정보 보호책임자 교육’을 실시했다.

개인정보 보호책임자란 교육청 및 교육지원청은 국장, 직속기관은 개인정보보호 업무를 담당하는 부서의 장, 유치원 및 학교는 원장, 교장으로 기관 및 학교의 개인정보보호를 위한 관리・감독 역할을 수행하고 있다.

이번 교육은 기관 및 학교의 개인정보 오・남용 및 침해사고 예방을 위한 개인정보 보호책임자의 역량 강화 및 개인정보보호 인식을 제고하기 위해 마련되었다.

교육은 청렴 동영상을 시작으로, 개인정보보호 전문 강사를 초청해 개인정보 보호책임자의 역할과 책임, 개정 개인정보 보호 법령, 개인정보 유출 사례 및 개인정보의 안전한 관리 방안 등 교육 현장에서 개인정보 보호책임자가 해야 할 실무 중심의 강의로 진행됐다.

또한, 이번 교육에 참석하지 못한 개인정보 보호책임자는 사이버 교육을 이수할 수 있도록 안내하여, 교육 현장의 안전한 개인정보보호 관리를 위해 모든 개인정보 보호책임자가 교육을 이수할 수 있도록 할 예정이다.
