충남 천안시가 지난 30일 문진석(천안갑) ·이재관(천안을) ·이정문(천안병) 국회의원 등 제22대 지역 국회의원들과 2025년도 정부예산 확보를 위한 간담회를 개최했다.

이날 간담회에는 박상돈 천안시장을 비롯한 국회의원들과 40여 명의 관계자들이 참석해 천안시 주요 현안사항과 내년도 국비 확보 사업 등을 공유하고 협력 방안을 논의했다.

이날 간담회에서 천안시는 국립치의학연구원 천안 설립, 천안 미래모빌리티 국가산업단지 순수산단 추진, GTX-C노선 연장구간 조기 개통, 이동녕선생 서훈 상향 등 시정 주요 현안사항 해결을 위한 지원을 당부했다.

또한, 2025년 정부예산 확보 대상 사업 89건, 1조 3,838억 원 중 신규사업과 국비 집중 확보가 필요한 40건, 2,080억 원의 사업에 대해 지역 국회의원의 적극적인 협조를 요청했다. 

주요사업은 남부권 시내버스 공영차고지 조상사업 113억 원 ,2025 천안 K-컬처 박람회 10억 원 ,산업단지 에너지 자급자족 인프라 구축 및 운영사업 80억 원 ,풍세면 하수관로 정비공사 122억 원 ,곡교천 하천정비 100억 원 등이다.

박상돈 시장은 “정부가 재정 건정성을 지키기 위해 재량지출을 늘리지 않는 기조로 내년도 예산안 편성 계획을 발표해, 신규는 물론 계속사업 또한 정부예산 확보에 난항이 예상되는 만큼 지역 국회의원의 관심과 지원이 필요하다”며 “시 또한 주요현안 사업이 내년도 정부예산에 반영될 수 있도록 총력을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
