대전시가 도심 속 공실을 활용한‘테마형 대전팜’을 선보였다.

지난 2월 6일 전국 최초로 기술연구형 대전팜을 개장한 대전시는 2일 이장우 대전시장을 비롯해 농림축산식품부 스마트농업정책과장, 관계 전문가 및 시민 등 200여 명이 참석한 가운데 테마형 대전팜 개장식 행사를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

동구 우암로 72(삼성동)에 위치한 테마형 대전팜은 지상 1층~지상 3층의 규모로 면적은 680㎡로 농업회사법인 둥구나무(주)에서 운영을 맡았다. 

지상 1층에는 주차장과 함께 수직 3단으로 이루어진 버터헤드 상추 등 엽채류 스마트팜, 지상 2층에는 아쿠아포닉스 시설과 저온성 버섯 재배시설, 새싹삼, 감자 재배시설, 교육장 등이 있고 지상 3층에는 새싹 스마트팜, 허브 체험장, 커뮤니티 공간으로 구성됐다.

농업회사법인 둥구나무(주)는 체험농장, 대학생 실습농장 등을 운영한 경험이 있으며 중소벤처기업청의 로컬크리에이터 과제(포도 재배 기반 농업교육)에 선정되기도 했다. 

이장우 대전시장은“앞으로 도시형 스마트팜 확산과 대전형 스마트 농업 첨단산업밸리를 조성하여 스마트농산업발전과 청년농 일자리 창출, 안전한 먹거리 공급에 최선을 다할 계획이다”라고 말했다. 

한편, 세계은행 인도 대표단은 지난 22일 한국의 선진 스마트팜 기술을 체험하고 적용방안 등을 모색하기 위해 기술연구형 대전팜을 방문했다. 

대표단은 수직농장 딸기 재배실과 7개의 기후모사 환경제어실 등 스마트팜 농업 기술을 현장에서 확인했으며 최근 말레이시아에서 사업화에 성공한 AI기반 노지 스마트팜 솔루션에도 큰 관심을 보였다. 대표단은 대전의 스마트 농업 기술에 큰 감명을 받고 앞으로 지속해서 파트너십 발전 방안을 모색하기로 했다.
