충남 논산시가 성매매 근절과 원도심 활성화를 위한 민관 거버넌스를 구성하고 24일 오전 시청에서 백성현 논산시장을 비롯해 민간위원 등 20여 관계자가 참석한 가운데‘성매매집결지 정비 민관협의체’ 출범식을 개최했다고 밝혔다.  

논산시 관계진은 협의체 운영 방침 및 단계별 정비 방안을 공유하는 한편 ‘성매매집결지를 어떤 모습으로 변화시킬 것인지’에 관한 대안적 개발 구상을 설명하고, 참석자들은 ‘여성친화형 도시재생사업’을 통해 원활히 성매매집결지 정비를 이뤄가고 있는 아산시의 사례를 살펴보며 지역 내 적용방향을 타진했다.
