충남 당진시가 도비도·난지도 일원을 해양관광복합단지로 조성하기 위해 지역특화발전특구 지정을 추진한다고 1일 밝혔다.

지난 2월 14일 한국농어촌공사와 업무협약을 체결한 당진시는 규제자유특구 및 지역특화발전특구에 관한 규제특례법을 적용해 도비도·난지도를 지역특화발전특구 지역으로 지정받아 개발사업을 추진할 예정이다.
