제22대 국회의원 총선거 공식 선거운동 기간 시작을 맞이하여 국민의힘 대전시당 선거대책위원회는 평생 시민을 지켜온 이은권(중구)‧이상민(유성구을)‧윤창현(동구)‧조수연(서구갑)‧양홍규(서구을)‧윤소식(유성구갑)‧박경호(대덕구) 후보와 함께 대전시민의 앞으로 4년을 지키기 위해 28일 00시부터 대전 시민 속으로 들어갔다고 전했다.

대전선대위는 오직 시민과 함께 일하겠다는 마음으로 7명의 후보들은 공식 선거운동기간 첫 일정부터 시민들의 삶 속으로 녹아들어 갔다고 밝혔다 .

먼저 이은권 후보는 한밭수영장에서 시민께 새벽인사를 드리며 지지를 부탁드렸고, 이상민 후보와 윤소식 후보는 노은동 농수산물시장에서 새벽을 여는 유권자들과 함께 숨쉬었다.

윤창현 후보는 대전역에서 대전발 첫 BRT 탑승 유권자와 근처 시장상인들에게 인사드렸고, 조수연 후보는 가수원 인력사무소에서 새벽 일자리를 찾는 분들을 찾았고, 양홍규 후보는 새벽 0시부터 지역구 내 아파트를 돌며 경비원들의 애환을 듣고 시민의 안전한 귀가를 책임졌으며, 마지막으로 박경호 후보는 오정동 농수산물시장에서 시민들과 마주하였다.

공식 선거운동기간 첫 일정을 시민들 속에서 시작한 것은 오직 국민의힘은 대한민국 동료시민 속에서만 의미가 있다는 것을 강조하기 위함이라고 밝힌 대전선대위는 첫 일정들은 동료시민 속에서 동료시민의 삶과 함께하고 싶은 마음 그리고 지금 당장 시민 속에서 일하고 싶은 간절한 마음을 담고 있다고 진심을 전했다.
