대전시사회서비스원이 대전시노인복지관에서 어르신 540여 명이 참여하는 교육프로그램 개강식이 열렸다고 4일 전했다.

어르신을 대상으로 한 교육프로그램은 어학(3과목 6개반) ,정보화(2과목 4개반) ,건강분야(11과목 15개반) ,정서분야(13과목 16개반) 총 4개 분야로 운영된다. 

복지관 이용회원 중 60세~92세 어르신 540여 명이 강의를 신청했다.

개강식은 복지관 이용회원 200여 명이 참석한 가운데 클라리넷 공연을 시작으로 김인식 대전시사회서비스원장의 축하 인사와 강사 소개, 교육프로그램 경과보고 등이 이뤄졌다.

김인식 원장은 “교육프로그램에 많은 어르신이 신청하신 것을 보고 배움에 대한 높은 열정을 몸소 느끼고 배움은 끝이 없다는 말을 떠올렸다”며 “교육에 참여하신 모든 분이 특별한 경험, 재미있는 시간, 배움의 즐거움을 느낄 수 있도록 프로그램을 잘 운영하고 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.

한편, 대전시노인복지관은 건강, 정보화, 취미 등 다양하고 알찬 내용으로 교육프로그램을 제공하여 지역사회 노인의 건강한 여가생활을 지원할 계획이다.

대전시노인복지관은 2006년에 개관해 노년 사회화 교육 서비스 ,정서 및 사회생활 지원 서비스 ,위기 및 독거노인 지원 서비스 등 종합적 노인복지서비스를 제공하고 있다. 

2023년 11월 1일부터 대전시사회서비스원이 위·수탁 운영 중이다.

Daejeon Senior Welfare Center opened in 2006 and provides comprehensive senior welfare services, including elderly socialization education services, emotional and social life support services, and crisis and senior citizen support services living alone.
