제22대 국회의원 선거 본선 출마 후보를 결정하는 경선에서 더불어민주당 대전 서구갑 후보에 장종태 전 대전 서구청장이 선출됐다.

더불어민주당 공천관리위원회는 3월 1일 저녁 장종태이지혜이용수 예비후보가 3자 경선을 실시한 결과 장종태 예비후보가 1위를 차지해 총선 후보로 확정했다고 밝혔다.
