국민의힘 공천관리위원회가 2차 경선결과를 발표한 가운데 대전 유성갑 윤소식, 대덕구 박경호 예비후보를 총선 후보로 최종 확정했다.

유성갑 윤소식 예비후보는 진동규 전 유성구청장과의 경선에서 진 예비후보를 누르고 본선 진출을 확정했고, 대덕구 박경호 예비후보는 이석봉 예비후보와의 경선에서 승리했다.

총선 후보로 확정된 윤소식 예비후보는 더불어민주당 조승래 의원과의 본선 경쟁이 확실하고, 박경호 예비후보는 현역인 박영순 의원의 탈당으로 더불어민주당 박정현 예비후보의 후보 확정이 불가피한 가운데 새로운미래에 입당한 박영순 의원과 3자 대결이 예상된다.

한편 경선을 통해 후보를 확정한 국민의힘 공천관리위원회는 경선 결과와 집계과정 모두를 후보와 대리인에게 공개했다고 밝혔다.
