재심 신청 및 선거운동 계속 이어갈 것

유지곤 더불어민주당 대전 서구갑 국회의원 예비후보가 3인 경선이 확정된 서구갑 지역구에서 본인의 경선 배제에 반발, 재심을 신청했다.

유지곤 예비후보는 23일 보도자료를 통해 “오늘 발표된 대전 서구갑 선거구 장종태, 이용수, 이지혜 3인 경선에 이의를 신청하며 더불어민주당 전략공관위에 공정한 재심을 신청한다”며 “저는 대전에서 태어나 43년을 살아오면서 출마 지역구인 서구갑에서 세 아이를 키우며 살아가고 있는 청년으로 다른 어느누구보다 우리 지역을 사랑하고 오랫동안 봉사해온 지역의 일꾼”이라고 강조했다.    

이어 "‘보통사람의 도전이 세상을 변화시킨다’는 고 노무현 대통령의 말씀은 공고 출신 백화점 주차요원으로 살아가던 저에게 언젠가 세상을 변화시키는 도전을 하겠다는 꿈을 심어주었다“며 "‘청년은 미래의 주역이 아니라 현재의 중심이어야 한다’ ‘청년들로부터 도전의 기회를 빼앗은 기성세대 정치인으로서 부끄러움을 느끼고 공정한 기회를 되찾아주겠다’는 이재명 대선 후보의 말씀은 마음을 흔들어 대선이 있던 추운 겨울, 저를 칼바람 부는 거리로 나서게 했”고 말했다.
