ESG 전문지도사를 양성하고 있는 지식재산스토리텔링협회(회장 이가희, 이하 IPSA)가 23일 한국인증협회(대표 김현우)와 ESG 경영인증 협업을 위한 MOU를 체결했다.

이번 MOU는 ESG 경영인증이 필요한 공공기관 등 수요처를 공동으로 발굴하고 인증심사를 진행함에 있어 상호 협력하는 것을 목적으로 이뤄졌다. 

이들 기관은 이날 협약에 따라 ‘ESG 경영인증 대상 공공기관 등 공동 발굴 및 인증 심사’, ‘ESG 경영인증 심사원 교육 지원’, ‘ISO인증 심사원 교육 지원’, ‘ESG 경영인증 대상에 대한 컨설팅 지원’ 등을 위한 공동의 노력을 다하기로 했다.

한국인증협회는 국내 정부지원사업 컨설팅 및 인증 수행기관으로 ESG 경영의 중요성을 인지하고 다방면 연구와 회의를 통해 2023년 ESG 경영인증 상표 출원, ESG 경영인증 상표등록 등을 통해 관련 업계 선두주자로 자리매김하고 있다.

IPSA는 이미 4번의 ‘ESG 전문지도사 양성 과정’을 열었으며 관련 인재들을 꾸준히 육성해 오고 있고, 최근에는 ‘ESG 진단평가사’ 교육 과정도 개설해 국내 ESG 경영 보편화에 앞장서고 있는 기관이다.

이번 MOU에 대해서 이가희 IPSA회장은 “ESG 관련 업계 선두주자인 한국인증협회와 협업에 나선 만큼 IPSA는 그동안 지속적으로 시행하고 있는 전문지도사 양성을 포함한 ESG 진단평가사 배출 등 차곡차곡 노하우를 축척해 ESG 경영인증 시장에서의 선두주자로 등극 할 수 있도록 최선의 노력을 기울일 것   ”이라고 강조했다.

한편 지식재산스토리텔링협회(IPSA)는 특허·실용신안·디자인·저작권 등 4차 산업혁명 시대의 핵심 자산인 지식재산을 어려운 과학기술이 아니라 지식재산의 탄생 배경이나 연구개발 과정 속에 담겨진 재미있는 이야기로 풀어서 수요자나 대중에게 보다 쉽고 재미있게 전달한다.
