세종시가 안전사고 예방 생활화를 위한 시민안전교실을 운영한다.

이를 위해 세종시는 오는 19일부터 내달 8일까지 ‘2024년 찾아가는 시민안전교실’ 상반기 교육 신청을 받는다고 16일 밝혔다.

시민안전교실은 안전취약계층, 시민 등의 안전사고 대처능력을 강화하고 안전의식을 확산하기 위해 마련됐다.

상반기 교육은 오는 4월 15일부터 시작하며 안전교육 전문강사가 교육을 희망하는 기관·단체 등을 직접 방문해 생애주기별 6대 안전분야를 교육하는 방식으로 진행된다.

생애주기별 6대 안전분야는 생활안전 ,교통안전 ,자연재난안전 ,사회기반 체계안전 ,범죄안전 ,보건안전으로 세종시는 특히 올해는 최근 급속 확산 중인 마약과 관련해 중독 등 예방·근절교육과 함께 온라인 사기 등 신종 범죄 유형에 대비할 수 있는 안전교육 및 청소년 자살예방 등에 관한 안전교육도 강화할 예정이라고 밝혔다.

한편, 지난해 세종시에서는 관내 기관·단체 596곳을 대상으로 총 659회 교육을 진행했고 총 1만 7254명이 참여했다.
