대전시가 운전자의 개인정보 보호를 위해 15일부터 QR코드를 활용한 주차 안심번호 서비스를 정식 운영한다고 밝혔다.

주차 안심번호 서비스는 차주가 유사시 연락을 목적으로 차량에 남겨 놓는 연락처를 QR코드로 대체하여, 개인정보 노출 없이 연락을 제공받는 서비스다.

앞서 대전시는 행정안전부의 “2022년 주민생활 혁신사례 확산 지원사업”에 선정돼 특별교부세 1억을 지원받아 주차 안심번호 서비스를 개발했다. 

주차 안심번호 서비스는 개인별 QR코드가 발급되는 시스템으로 시민들이 QR코드를 직접 출력하여 차량에 부착하면, 차주와 연락을 원하는 사람이 QR코드 인식 후 메시지가 발송된다.

서비스 신청 대상은 대전시 소재 차량 보유자이며, 타 지역 소재 차량은 서비스가 제한된다. 

또한 대전시는 QR코드를 악용한 신종 사기 수법에 대비, 상시 신고 접수 및 적발 시 서비스를 제한할 계획이다.

Daejeon City launches parking safety number service using QR code

Daejeon City announced that it will officially operate a parking safety number service using QR codes starting on the 15th to protect drivers' personal information.
