국립공주대학교 산학협력단이 교육부에서 주관하는‘교육발전특구 시범지역 지정 공모’신청을 위해 부여군, 충남교육청 및 부여군교육지원청 간 업무협약을 체결했다고 8일 밝혔다.

교육발전특구는 지역소멸 위기 시기에 지방자치단체, 교육청, 대학, 지역 기업, 지역 공공기관 등이 협력하여 지방에서도 양질의 교육을 받을 수 있도록 지역 교육을 혁신하고, 지역인재 양성과 지역 정주 생태계 활성화 하고자 특교․균특회계를 통해 종합적으로 지원하는 정책이다.

협약에 따라 각 협약기관은 보유 역량과 자원을 최대한 활용해 부여군 교육발전특구 시범지역 운영 관련 운영기획서 마련 ,교육발전전략 수립, 지역인재 양성 시스템 구축 ,공교육 분야 지원 확대 ,우수 인재의 지역 정주여건 개선에 관한 사항 등을 상호 협력하여 교육발전특구 사업을 성공적으로 추진할 계획이다.
