원도심 문제 해결 위한 5대 공약 제시

오는 4월 10일 실시하는 제22대 국회의원선거에 도전한 이은권 국민의힘 대전 중구 국회의원 예비후보가 “전 세대를 아우르는 자족도시, 경제도시로 바꾸겠다”며 3일 선거사무소 개소식을 열고 세 과시와 함께 당선 고지를 향해 각오를 다졌다.

이날 개소식에서 이은권 예비후보는 신뢰, 책임, 정직 등 세 가지 키워드를 강조했다.

이은권 예비후보는 “지금껏 정치를 해오며 단 한 번도 대가를 바라거나 사적인 이익을 좇지 않았다”며 “거짓말이나 꼼수로 위기를 모면하려는 전형적인 ‘여의도 사투리’는 절대 구사하지 않겠다”고 말했다. 또한 “법을 만드는 입법부의 일원답게 스스로 한 말은 무조건 지키겠다”며 책임감을 강조하기도 했다.

이어 대한민국이 직면한 가장 심각한 위기로 저출산 문제와 초고령화 사회 진입, 청년 실업 문제를 거론하며 예산, 청년 고용, 주거, 양육 등 다양한 분야를 제도적으로 세분화해 개선하겠다고 말했다. 

개소식에서 이은권 예비후보는 중구 발전을 위한 5대 공약으로 중촌 문화예술복합단지조성, 보문산 관광벨트 구축 본격화, 사정교-한밭대교 도로 개설, 중구 아이돌봄 행복이음센터 건립, 대흥동 메가시티 건물 해결을 약속했다.

이은권 예비후보는 “제가 제시한 공약들은 교통혼잡과 복지·문화시설 부족 등 원도심의 고질적인 문제를 해결하고 관광 등 유동인구를 증대하여 서비스업에 편중되어 있는 중구의 지역경제를 활성화할 최선의 방법”이라며 “5대 공약을 통해 중구의 확실한 발전을 이뤄내겠다”고 역설했다. 

한편 이날 개소식에는 대전 지역의 국민의힘 국회의원 예비후보들과 전현직 시·구의원들을 비롯해 9백여 명의 지역주민들이 몰리며 이은권 예비후보를 향한 지역 유권자들의 뜨거운 관심과 지지가 눈길을 끌었다.
