충남 서천군이 지난 22일 발생한 서천특화시장 화재와 관련 비상대책회의를 열고 화재 복구대응 비상대책 수립에 나섰다.

이를 위해 서천군은 29일 군청 상황실에서 김기웅 서천군수 주재로 부군수, 국장 등 전 부서장이 참석한 가운데 서천특화시장 화재 복구을 위한 비상대책 회의를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

화재 발생에 따른 막대한 피해를 입은 상인들의 조속한 일상 회복을 위해 마련된 이날 회의에서 서천군은 피해를 입은 상인들을 신속하게 지원하고, 임시 상설시장 개설 등 화재복구 대책을 중점적으로 논의했다.

먼저, 서천특화시장 화재 피해복구를 위해 긴급 편성된 추가경정예산 114억 1천만원 가운데 피해상인의 긴급 생계안정을 위한 충남도 재해구호기금과 소상공인 생활안정지원금 14억 3천만원이 투입된다.

이와 관련, 27일 소상공인 생활안정지원금 300만원, 재해위로금 200만원 등 점포당 500만원을 지급했으며, 추가로 행정안전부에 시장 재건축을 위한 특별교부세도 건의한 상황이다.
