충남 서산시 천수만 서산버드랜드 인근에서 황새 28개체가 휴식을 취하는 모습이 6일 카메라 렌즈에 포착됐다.

황새는 천연기념물과 멸종위기야생생물 1급 및 국가적색목록에서 위기(EN) 등급으로 지정된 국제적인 보호종이다.

세계적인 철새도래지인 서산 천수만에서는 지난해 2월 14일 60개체 이상의 황새무리가 관찰되는 등 대규모 황새 무리가 비정기적으로 관찰이 되고 있다.
