지난 20일부터 다음 달 15일까지 제272회 제2차 정례회를 개최하는 대전 대덕구의회 경제도시위원회(위원장 전석광)가 27일 행정사무감사 1일 차를 맞아 경제과·에너지산업과·환경과를 대상으로 감사를 진행했다.

감사에 나선 전석광 위원장은 ‘대덕거리 맥주페스티벌’ 행사에 대해 “집행부가 행사 변경 후 계획을 (의회에) 통보했다”면서 “적은 예산이 반영되는 것도 아닌데, 의회 의견 청취도 없이 일방적으로 행사를 변경하는 것은 의회를 무시하는 것”이라고 지적했다. 

또 전 위원장은 ‘내 일상이 즐거운 쉼터’와 관련 “막대한 예산이 들어가는 것에 비해 운영 효율성이 떨어진다”면서 “계속 사업으로 가야 하는지 의문이 든다”고 말했다. 

양영자 의원은 대덕거리 맥주페스티벌 대체 행사로 진행된 버스킹에 대해 “고급스럽다는 반응이 있지만, 일부에선 예산 낭비라는 지적이 있었다”면서 “추후 축제를 진행할 때 (행사 내용에 대한) 골목상권 회복이라는 행사 취지에 맞춰서 활성화에 노력해 달라”고 당부했다. 

이어 유승연 의원은 악취 문제에 대해 “접수된 악취 종류는 다양하지만, 그것에 비해 처리 결과 답변이 ‘순찰과 점검을 하겠다’, ‘특이사항 발견하지 못했다’ 등 굉장히 한정적이었다”면서 “악취 관련 민원이 끊이지 않는 만큼, 집행기관에선 적극적인 방안 강구가 필요하다”고 주문했다.
