충남 논산시가 2024년도 본예산 약 1조 657억 원 규모를 편성해 지난 21일 논산시의회로 제출했다고 밝혔다.

논산시가 시의회에 제출한 내년도 본예산안 1조 657억 원은 일반회계 9802억 원, 특별회계 855억 원으로 올해 본예산 9418억 원에 비해 1239억 원이 증가했다.

일반회계 세입예산으로는 지방세 803억 원 ,세외수입 2733억 원 ,지방교부세 3778억 원을 추계했으며 국고보조금으로는 2929억 원을, 도비보조금으로는 898억 원을 편성했다.

논산시는 국세 수입 저조 및 경기침체의 장기화로 논산시 세입의 약 40%를 차지했던 금년 4회 추가경정예산 대비 637억 원이 줄어들고 자체 수입 징수도 여의치 않을 전망이었으나, 민선 8기 출범 이후 국비 확보에 총력을 기울인 결과 국도비예산이 증가해 전체 재정 규모가 커진 것으로 풀이된다. 

한편, 2024년 예산안에 반영된 주요 사업으로는 강경도시가스 보급사업비 98억 원(총사업비 280억 원) ,과학영농종합분석센터 30억 원(총사업비 56억 원) ,실감형 테머가리 조성 사업 32억 원(총사업비 44억 원) ,청년농 맞춤형 스마트팜 보급지원사업 32억 원 등이 눈에 띈다. 

논산시의 2024년도 본예산안은 논산시의회 각 상임위원회, 예산결산특별위원회의 심의 이후 12월 21일 열리는 본회의를 거쳐 의결ㆍ확정될 예정이다. 

논산시는 향후 백성현 시장을 필두로 내년도 본예산 편성 기조와 주요 정책사업을 논산시의회에 설명하고 적극적인 협조를 구할 계획이다.

Next year's main budget of 1.0657 trillion won submitted by Nonsan City to the city council includes 980.2 billion won in general accounting and 85.5 billion won in special accounting, an increase of 123.9 billion won compared to this year's main budget of 941.8 billion won.
