충청남도 서산시의 관광지 2곳이 대한민국 야간관광 명소에 선정됐다.

서산시는 ‘간월도 해양경관 탐방로’와 ‘서산해미읍성’ 이 문화체육관광부와 한국관광공사가 주관한 ‘대한민국 밤밤곡곡 100선’에 선정됐다고 10일 밝혔다.

올해 처음으로 시행된 ‘대한민국 밤밤곡곡 100선’은 전국의 다양한 매력을 가진 야경 명소와 야간 프로그램을 전 국민에게 소개하고 야간 관광을 활성화하고자 마련됐다.

간월도 해양경관 탐방로는 해수면 위 113m의 해안데크, 달을 상징 모양의 포토존, 야간 조명, 간월도 굴탑 등을 갖추고 있다.

특히, 환상적인 낙조, 해수면 위 해안데크, 이와 함께 교각 기둥에 조성된 야간 경관이 아름다워 새로운 관광명소로 부각되고 있다.

서산해미읍성은 진남문 성벽에 병영성을 형상화한 야간 조명이 있으며, 성 내에는 산책길을 따라 동헌, 객사, 내아, 호서좌영루, 청허정, 옥사 앞 회화나무, 동헌 앞 느티나무, 민속가옥 등에 야간 조명이 설치돼 있다.

남녀노소 관계 없이 성벽의 야간 조명을 따라 걷거나 성 내 넓은 천연 잔디와 대나무 숲, 청허정 쪽에 조성된 소나무 숲에서 은은한 조명과 함께 산책하며 여유롭게 힐링할 수 있는 곳이다.
