충남 논산시와 아시아한상총연합회(연합회장 윤 희)가 주최ㆍ주관하고 재외동포청에서 후원하는 ‘2023 아시아 한상대회’가 지난 8일 오후 논산아트센터에서 개막행사를 갖고 3일간의 일정에 돌입했다.

이번 대회 9일과 10일에는 전천후실내체육관에서 본격적인 기업전시회 및 수출상담회가 열린다. 

대회장은 농식품관, 일반관, 해외기업관, 홍보관으로 구획을 지어 꾸며져 있으며 베트남, 태국, 싱가포르, 홍콩, 인도 등 아시아 15개국에서 활동 중인 140여 명의 바이어들과 50여 국내 기업의 관계자 150여 명이 대회장에서 열띤 수출입 협의를 이어갈 전망이다.

아시아한상대회를 기념하고 실질적 수출상담ㆍ기업홍보에 임하고자 300여 경제인들이 논산으로 모여든 가운데, 첫날 개막식은 난타 공연과 시립합창단 공연 등 이 이어졌다.

공동 대회장을 맡은 김정민 아시아한상베트남연합회장은 개회사에서 “아시아한상은 국내외 우량 기업에서 생산하는 다양한 제품의 수출, 수입 나아가 투자까지 촉진하는 가교 역할을 수행하고자 한다”며 “행복상생을 약속한 논산시와 힘을 합쳐 이번 대회를 성공적으로 치러내 지역사회와 글로벌 동포사회가 함께 웃을 수 있는 미래를 만들겠다”고 말했다.
