지난 3일부터 5일까지 3일 동안 충남 홍성군과 백종원 더본코리아가 손잡고 준비한 ‘2023 글로벌바베큐페스티벌 in 홍성’이 마지막 날 오전 30만 명이 넘는 축제 참가자들이 다녀가면서 홍성군의 축산물 대표 축제로 발돋움했다.

홍성군에 따르면 축제 첫날 10만30명에 이어 둘째 날 18만6천명을 기록한 가운데 마지막 날 5일 오전 11시 기준 축제장을 찾은 관광객 수가 30만명을 돌파했다고 밝혔고, 축제 막바지까지 50만 명이 다녀갈 것으로 조심스럽게 내다봤다.
