충남 서산시가 주최하고 서산문화재단이 주관하는 제20회 서산해미읍성축제가 오는 6일부터 8일까지 3일간 개최되는 가운데 서산시가 축제  막바지 준비에 나섰다.

 ‘제20회 서산해미읍성축제’는 10월 6일 금요일 오후 7시 개막식을 시작으로 8일 오후 10시까지 3일간 서산해미읍성 일원에서 개최된다.

축제 준비 점검에 나선 이완섭 서산시장은 연휴 마지막 날인 지난 3일 해미읍성을 방문해 축제 관계자 등으로부터 준비 상황을 듣고 시설물 등의 상태를 살폈다.

올해로 20번째를 맞은 이번 축제는 ‘고‧성‧방‧가(古城放佳)- “옛 성에 아름다움을 풀어놓다”’라는 주제로 열린다.

이번 축제는 젊은 세대의 인기를 끌 수 있는 다양한 가수들의 공연과 가족들이 즐길 수 있는 프로그램, 그리고 처음으로 선뵈는 야간 공연과 드론라이트 쇼가 준비돼 많은 이들의 기대를 모으고 있다.

서산시는 이번 축제에 처음 선뵈는 야간 축제장 운영을 위해 준비한 전시프로그램‘빛의바다-해미(海美)’과 ‘별이 내려앉은 숲’은 어둠속 해미읍성의 색다른 풍경을 제공할 예정이다.

서산시와 재단은 성공적인 축제 개최를 위해 막바지 축제 홍보에 열성을 다하고 있다.

또 지난 9월 25일 축제안전관리심의회를 거쳐 교통, 안전, 의료, 보건, 위생, 환경 대책도 철저하게 마련하는 등 축제 기간에 불편 사항이 없도록 힘을 쏟고 있다.
