대전시가 오는 26일 오후 4시 D-유니콘라운지에서 대전일자리경제진흥원과 함께, 제12회 대전혁신기술교류회(DITEC:Daejeon Innovation & Technology Exchange Community)를 개최한다고 밝혔다.

이번 행사는 바이오의 메카 대전시가 바이오 신산업을 주도하는 대기업 CJ 제일제당과 함께, 최신 바이오 기술을 소개하고 창업으로의 길을 열기 위해 개최하는 것으로 대전시는 이번 기술교류회를 위해 CJ제일제당의 R&D 대외협력 총괄자인 황윤일 부사장을 초대했다.

황윤일 부사장은 이번 행사를 통해, 빠르게 진화하고 있는 바이오 기반의 새로운 비즈니스 기회를 소개하고, 질병연구와 신약개발을 위한 레드바이오, 농생명공학기술과 연계된 그린바이오, 플라스틱, 연료 등 화학 기술분야인 화이트바이오 등 바이오 전 분야에 걸친 최신 글로벌 기술동향을 분석한다.

이와 함께, 바이오 영역에 공학 개념을 불어넣은 합성생물학, 바이오파운드리, 미래 바이오산업 확대를 위한 기술 혁신을 설명할 예정이다.

한편, 대전은 바이오기업이 80개 이상 집적된 바이오메카인 만큼, 시는 바이오헬스 산업을 4대 전략 핵심사업으로 지정하여 국가 미래 먹거리 사업으로 집중 육성하고 있다.

특히, 카이스트 혁신 디지털의과학원 추진과 충남대 디지털 바이오 융합인재육성사업 등 바이오 첨단기술을 이끌어 갈 연구개발 인재양성에도 적극 나서고 있다.
