‘2027 충청권 하계세계대학경기대회 조직위원회’(이하 조직위원회)가 13일 세종시 조직위원회 사무처에서 조직위원회 공식 출범과 함께 현판식을 개최했다.

이날 출범식에는 조직위원회 선임위원장인 이장우 대전시장, 최민호 세종시장, 김영환 충북도지사, 김태흠 충남도지사, 집행위원,유관기관 관계자 등 100여 명이 참석하여 대회의 성공적 개최를 다짐했다.

조직위원회는 지난 6월 30일 문화체육관광부의 법인 설립 인가를 받아 세종시 어진동에 사무처를 구성하고 7월부터 충청권 4개 시․도 공무원을 파견해 대회 기본계획 수립 등 차질 없는 대회 준비에 박차를 가하고 있다.
