9일 오후 5시 12분경 충남 공주시 반포면 학봉리 솔향펜션 인근에서 승합차(스타렉스)가 추락해 2명이 숨지고 5명이 중경상을 입어 병원으로 이송돼 치료를 받고 있는 것으로 확인됐다.

사고 신고를 접수한 공주소방서는 구조인력 30명과 장비 9대를 투입해 인명구조에 나서 중상자 3명과 경상자 2명을 구조해 병원으로 긴급 이송조치를 취했다.

공주소방서 관계자는 사고 경위에 대해 주차 중 차량이 추락하면서 전복돼 뒤집혀 사고가 커진것으로 알고 있다고 말하고, 사망자 2명은 유성선병원,건양대병원으로 이송했고, 중상자 3명 가운데 2명은 을지대학병원에 1명은 충남대병원으로 이송, 경상자 2명은 각각 공주의료원과 건양대병원으로 이송조치했다고 밝혔다.
