대전시사회서비스원(원장 김인식, 이하 사회서비스원)이 28일 박희조 대전 동구청장을 초청해 사회서비스 현장의 목소리를 전하고, 자치구와의 긴밀한 협력을 위한 자리를 마련했다.

사회서비스원 김인식 원장은 박희조 청장에게 대전시사회서비스원 주요 사업 소개와 2023년 사업 계획 안내 그리고 사회서비스 현황   에 대한 논의를 했다.

특히 동구 지역 내 대전시사회서비스원 협업 및 지원 상황을 공유하고 향후 지역민을 위한 긴밀한 사업 협조를 약속했다. 

김인식 원장은 “동구 복지 사업을 살펴보면 육아종합지원센터 설치를 비롯해 맞춤형 SOS 돌봄 강화 방안으로 노인과 아동 대상 사업을 추진하는 등 대전시사회서비스원과 상호 협력 및 연계할 수 있는 부분이 많다”며 “이 자리를 통해 시민 모두 건강하고 행복한 일류 복지 대전, 일류 복지 동구를 만들 수 있도록 대전시사회서비스원이 동구청과 함께하겠다”고 말했다. 

박희조 동구청장은 “동구는 복지와 뗄 수 없는 지역적 특징을 가지고 있는 가운데 예산의 상당 부분이 복지 비용으로 책정되어 있어 구 행정의 중심축”이라고 강조하며 “대전시사회서비스원 방문을 통해 상호 사업에 대한 이해를 높이고 기관 간 협력의 기회가 많아지길 바란다”고 전했다. 

한편 대전시사회서비스원은 5개 자치구와의 협력을 위해 지난 7일 김광신 중구청장을 시작으로 동구, 대덕구, 유성구, 서구 지역 구청장 및 주요 직위자와 소통의 자리를 마련할 계획이다.
