국립공주대학교 가구리빙디자인학과 4학년 3명의 학생들이 이탈리아 국제디자인공모전에서 ARTS, CRAFTS AND READY-MADE DESIGN AWARD2022-2023 / Bronze A' Design Award in Fine Arts and Art Installation Design Category in 2022-2023 으로 우수한 성적을 거두었다고 공주대가 전했다.

이탈리아 국제가구디자인공모전(A' Design Award and Competition)은 연례적으로 개최되는 국제 디자인 공모전으로 모든 창조적인 분야와 산업에서 전 세계적으로 최고의 디자인, 디자인 개념 및 디자인 지향 제품의 우수한 자격을 강조하는 것을 목표로 하는 공모전이다.

공주대 가구리빙디자인학과 4학년 학생(강민주, 박지은, 한하늘)이 제출했던 작품 "Knotted Bench"는 세대 갈등으로 인한 다양한 사회 문제를 해결하기 위해 가구가 필요하다는 생각으로부터 디자인을 시작했다. 

Knotted Bench 와 함께 세대 공존을 향한 다양성과 차이를 인정하고 소통하는 사회를 상상한 디자인으로 Bronze A' Design Award in Fine Arts and Art Installation Design Category in 2022-2023에 수상하여 이름을 올렸다.

공주대 가구리빙디자인학과(김정호, 김종서, 김건수, 김소현)는 다양한 국내․외 전시 경험과 산학/관학 프로젝트를 통해 학생들의 역량을 인정받고 있으며, 미래의 리빙디자인 전반의 리더로서 자질을 향상시키고 있다.

3 seniors of the Department of Furniture and Living Design at Kongju National University received ARTS, CRAFTS AND READY-MADE DESIGN AWARD2022-2023 / Bronze A' Design Award in Fine Arts and Art Installation Design Category in 2022-2023 at the International Design Competition in Italy. The Italian International Furniture Design Competition (A' Design Award and Competition) is an annual international design competition that aims to highlight the superior qualifications of the best designs, design concepts and design-oriented products worldwide in all creative fields and industries. It is a contest with

"Knotted Bench", a work submitted by 4th year students of the Department of Furniture and Living Design at Kongju University (Juju Kang, Jieun Park, Ha Neul Han), started designing from the idea that furniture was needed to solve various social problems caused by generational conflict.

Together with Knotted Bench, the design imagining a society that recognizes and communicates diversity and differences toward generational coexistence was awarded and named in the Bronze A' Design Award in Fine Arts and Art Installation Design Category in 2022-2023.

The Department of Furniture and Living Design at Kongju University (Kim Jeong-ho, Kim Jong-seo, Kim Gun-soo, Kim So-hyun) has been recognized for its students' capabilities through various domestic and international exhibition experiences and industry-university/government-academic projects, and is improving their qualities as a leader in the future living design.
