대전시사회서비스원이 어버이날을 맞이해 취약계층 어르신을 위한 따뜻한 선물을 준비해 전달하는 시간을 가졌다.

대전시사회서비스원은 지난 3일 대전 중구 사정공원에서 아웃도어 브랜드 블랙야크 강태선 나눔재단(이하 블랙야크)의 후원 물품 1200개를 대전 지역 노인맞춤돌봄서비스 수행기관 5개 기관에 전달했다고 밝혔다.

이날 전달된 ‘효(孝) 박스’는 김, 식초, 블랙야크 자사 제품 등 8가지 식·생활용품으로 구성됐다. 

김인식 대전시사회서비스원 원장은 “10년 동안 꾸준히 대전 지역 취약 어르신을 위한 뜻깊은 후원을 이어오고 있는 블랙야크 임직원분들께 감사의 인사를 전한다”며 “어버이날을 맞이해 경제적으로 어려움을 겪고 있는 어르신들을 위로하는 따뜻한 선물이 되길 바란다”고 말했다.

한편 블랙야크는 2014년부터 식료품 및 생활용품으로 구성된 ‘효(孝) 박스’를 제작해 독거노인종합지원센터를 통해 전국 노인맞춤돌봄서비스 광역지원기관에 전달하고 있다.
