대전동구가 아동양육시설에 지원하는 보조금이 부당하게 사용된 정황을 인지 하고서도 즉각적인 행정조치를 취하지 않으면서 해당 시설과의 유착의혹을 받고있다.

특히 이 과정에서 동구청 관계자는 해당시설을 옹호하는 발언을 해 취재기자를 의아하게 했다.

보조금 부당사용 의혹이 제기된건 지난해 12월 29일 동구청 여성아동과 김현정 과장과 주무관이 입회한 가운데 동구의회 강정규 부의장 실에서 처음 제기됐다.

당시 제기된 의혹은 동구 산내로에 위치한 아동양육시설인 A복지법인이 실제 시설에 근무하지 않고있는 대학 재학생에게 지난 2010년부터 2012년도까지 약 3년동안 급여를 지급했다는게 주된 의혹의 핵심이었다.

이 같은 의혹은 당시 시설에 근무했던 교사들이 증언을 하면서 수면위로 들어났고, 29일 전직 교사들의 증언을 동구청 김현정 과장 등 관계자들도 함께 직접 들을 수 있었다.

당시 증언은 경험하거나 실제 현장에서 확인하지 않고는 증언 할 수 없는 증언들로 당시 A복지법인에서 운영하고 있는 아동양육시설에서 근무했던 전 교사들의 증언이었다.

문제는 이같은 증언을 접하고도 동구청이 1개월이 넘는 동안 아무런 조치를 취하지 않고 있으면서 봐주기 의혹 등 불필요한 의혹을 스스로 사고 있다는데 있다.

전 교사들의 증언을 종합하면 당시 법인대표와 시설 원장의 아들 B씨에게 약 3년여 동안 시설에 근무하는 것처럼 해서 급여를 지급했다는게 주된 증언이다.
